Upsize your downpipes.

Larger downpipes are used: 

• when the current design does not incorporate enough downpipes and adding soakwells is difficult or too expensive.
• to help flush leaves and debris from the gutter ( assuming you have grates).
• in patio areas where dual roofs drain into the same gutter.
